Yellow Jalapeno-(Capsicum annuum)-This is the Yellow variant of the jalapeno. It ripens from green to Yellow. If left on the plants too long it will eventually go red like regular Jalapenos. It's best flavor is when picked yellow. The Yellow Jalapeno has a nice Jalapeno flavor with citrus flavor tones. It is slightly fruity. The peppers are two to three inches long and can get close to an inch in width. The Yellow Jalapeno has a nice burst of heat level and is great for small poppers or salsa. The Yellow Jalapeno chile plants grow 2 to 3 feet tall.
