Yan Hu Suo (Corydalis ambigua) is a tuberous early flowering plant in the Papaveraceae family. The leaves are fern-like, twice or thrice-complex. Corollas are violet-blue, 16–20 mm long, wide or narrower. Inflorescences are racemose or single flowers on long peduncles. The upper petal has a pronounced spur, in which nectar accumulates.
