These G10 Knife Scales from WoodRiver are an excellent choice for outdoor applications. G10 is a fiberglass-based laminated material made by stacking layers of fiberglass cloth atop one another while being covered in resin, which is then compressed and baked. This process produces a lightweight material that is very hard and durable. G10 can be shaped by using files, rasps, and sandpaper. Scales measure 8mm x 1-1/2" x 5". Note: This is a glass-based material, so you need to use a respirator and gloves while cutting and shaping it.
