Amazon.com The fan-service fantasy Witchblade continues with a shocking revelation: The X-Cons that Masane has been fighting with the title device are made by the Douji Group from human cadavers. The news appalls Masane, but she agrees to continue working for Douji to get money for her daughter Rihoko. Although the Witchblade is supposed to make whoever wields it invincible, Masane once again gets her exposed derrière kicked by the user of the one of the inferior "Cloneblades." The convoluted plot may be nonsensical and the characters inane, but Witchblade offers the plenty of skin and violence for hormonal teenagers. In an accompanying interview, character designer/ executive animation director Makoto Uno says, "We added a devilish element to the physical beauty of women and animated them with particular attention to the breasts and butt."
