Features and Applications: for TIG gas-tungsten arc welding (GTAW) process for 304, 304L, 308, 308L, 321 and 347 stainless steels; with a carbon content held to a max of .03% to reduce the possibility of intergranular carbide precipitation; most popular stainless wire for general-purpose applications where corrosion is moderate and applications at cryogenic temperatures; shielding gas required, usually 100% Argon.
