Three mysterious figures appear in a small little town in the middle of nowhere, claiming to be guided by the stars in the sky. Dressed in foreign finery, they come with opulent gifts that would be worthy of the emperor of Rome himself. Instead, they visit a poor family and give their gifts, homage, and worship to a mere child. What would have been the amazement and wonderment of anyone who saw them in Bethlehem? So strange and enigmatic, and yet so sure of the truth that they possess. Just as suddenly and mysteriously as they appeared, they then leave for their homes back in the East.
