Wayland Chiles Yellow Husk Ground Cherry Seeds

Wayland Chiles is a small family seed farm located in Florida. All of the seeds sold are grown in the USA. When ripe the fruit measures 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, turns yellow and is enclosed in a lantern shaped papery husk that changes from light green to turns light brown. Ground cherries have a sweet tart flavor and are used for making desserts, pies, sauces and preserves. They are also good eaten fresh.
