Handsets include individual charging bases, which require only a power source to add an extra phone extension to any room in your house. The 5.8 GHz DSS transmission does the rest by allowing each handset to communicate directly with your phone system's base unit, so there's no need for installing additional phone jacks.
Handsets feature caller ID with call waiting and visual message-waiting indicator, storing up to 50 names and numbers access able through the handset's LCD. The LCD also features digital and analog clock readouts and handy navigation controls. The 5820 provides a distinct vibrating handset ringer, which can be used alone or with selectable ring tones.
