Preparations: 1. Surfaces must be sound, clean, dust free and dry.  2. Use bituminous flashband Primer to improve adhesion on porous rough, dusty surfaces in cold or damp weather.  3. Porous surfaces-dampen lightly with water before applying. 4. Non-porous surfaces should be dry or only very slightly damp. 5. Apply Flashband primer with a water dampend brush. Allow to dry, but protect from rain or frost. 6. Fill cracks wider than 3mm, deep hollows. Apllication: 1. Cut flashband to required length.  2. Remove the backing, press flashband into place. using fingertip pressure, Avoid excessive pressure. 3. When laying adjacent rolls the flashband must overlap by at least 25mm 4. Use a seam roller or rounded piece of wood to smooth the flashband and ensure well contact is made.
