This print will look wonderful framed in the home, office or restaurant and is perfect for the Vintage Art Collector. - ABOUT THE ARTIST - Conrado Walter Massaguer - Conrado Walter Massaguer (1889-1965) He was born in Cuba but moved early in his life to Merida, Mexico where he self taught himself art and began publishing cartoon in the local papers. In 1912 he published his first drawings on Broadway in New York, in a Sunday edition of the New York Journal American. In 1913, along with his brother Oscar, founded Graphic published until 1918. Social Later published in 1916 and then in January 1919, Tom Thumb, a magazine for children. In June of the same year he published the weekly posters. In 1933 he illustrated the book People worth talking about, Hamilton Cosmo. Later on he became editor of various magazines and moved back to Cuba to work as international journalist, cartoonist and illustrator. He died in Havana on October 18 of 1965.
