VICTORIAN BLACK BAT BIRD Stick Hat Pin Long Hatpin Silver Plt Vintage Style

Hatpins were functional and necessary many years ago when a Hat was worn for almost every occasion. The longer pins were used to keep the Hat in place by sliding the pin thru the Hat and a section of the hair. Please Note: This is a newly created pin in a vintage style design. Sometimes actual vintage ornaments and parts are used on my hat pins when I have them available. Longer pins will have a very slight bend in the stem, this is normal and does not affect the pin in any way.
