Great Sensors for Arduino Project. Having Fun With Electronics and Programming! Description: The Light Intensity Sensor can be used for brightness and the ambient light intensity detection, which is widely used in intelligent car. Compared with photo-resistor, photoresistor is better in directionality. It only detect light source in front of the sensor. It is better to use for light searching. "DO" outputs 0 and 1 digital signal. When ambient light intensity does not reach the threshold value, the "DO" port output high lever; When the ambient light intensity exceeds a set threshold, the "DO" output low lever. Digital outputs "DO" can be directly connected with the microcontroller. Sensitivity is adjustable by adjusting the potentiometer. PCB-mounted LEDs indicate the power (Red) and digital switch output (Green). Wiring Instructions: VCC ---- DC 3.3V-5V GND ---- "-" DO ---- Digital Output Specification: Working Voltage: DC 3.3V-5V Output Format : DO digital switching outputs (0 and 1) PCB Size: 31 x 14mm / 1.22" x 0.55" (L*W) Fixed Hole Diameter: 3mm Package Includes: 1 x Light Intensity Sensor
