UTEK UT-891 USB/RS-485/RS-422 1Port Interface Converter(CP)

UT-891 is needing no additional power supplies, compatible with USB, RS-422 and RS-485 standards. It can convert the single-terminal USB signals into balanced differential RS-422 or RS-485 signals, provid ing surge protect ion power for each line. The surge voltage caused by different reasons on lines and the extremely tiny interelectrode capacitance guarantee high speed transmission of RS-422/RS-48 interface. RS-422 and RS-485 terminal connect by RJ-45 and DB9 male connector. The internal converter has the function of zero delay automatic sending and receiving conversion and the independent I/O circuit controls data flow direction; it doesn't need shake hands signals (e.g. RTS and DTR, etc. ) and jumper settings to realize full duplex (RS-422) and half-duplex (RS-485) modes conversion and plug and play. It ensures applicable to all current communication software and interface hardware. For point to multi-point, each converter can allow connecting 32 RS-422 or RS-485 interface equipment. 1.
