The chain we used is a sturdy, strong sterling silver rolo chain - it is 1.5 mm in width and it shimmers, shines, and sparkles. I chose this chain because it is very strong and perfect for kids. We also have added a two-inch removable extender so that the necklace can grow with her into adulthood. Please note we do not use the word "delicate" if it looks delicate - it probably is and we want the strongest chains we can find.
