U-Turn - 7/8-9 Hex Nut Zinc Plated SAE J995 Grade 2 (4 Count) - An internally threaded fastener with a hexagonal shape designed to be screwed onto an externally threaded screw or rod with the same thread pitch and of similar material properties. The hexagonal shape permits tightening with a hex wrench. Sold here in low carbon steel with a zinc plated finish that provides better corrosion resistance than a plain finish or black oxide coated part of the same material.
