U-Turn - 5/8"-11 Grade 5 Hex Nut SAE J995, Zinc Plated (10 Count) - An internally threaded fastener with a hexagonal shape designed to be screwed onto an externally threaded screw or rod with the same thread pitch and of similar material properties. The hexagonal shape permits tightening with a hex wrench. Sold here in grade 5 material, making these stronger than everyday low carbon steel hex nuts. Designed for use with grade 5 bolts or all thread rod. Zinc Plated for a higher degree of corrosion resistance than plain finish hex nuts. For use indoors in low corrosive environments.
