Desert Story Paula Vaughan is wealthy, irresponsible and bored. With all her money, life was dull for Paula until she met sudden drama on a desert road and a sudden rearrangement of her empty life. -----Act of Decision On the eve of an important game, the winning and well-liked coach of a small-college football team finds out from the police that his star player, Watkins, has been out late and speeding with a girl in his car. The coach, despite the pleas of the college and the threats of the alumni, takes the star player off the team. Without Watkins they play a close game, and in the last few minutes, after learning the truth about the incident in Watkins favor, the coach puts Watkins into the game, but they lose anyway. Everyone involved learns a lesson in courage and ethics
