The Gun A police detective returns home to his family one morning only to have his meal interrupted by a constant stream of people: the milkman, his neighbor, the postman, the grocery boy, and a salesman. Afterwards, he finds that his gun is missing. In a panic that slowly turns to paranoia, he realizes that each of the visitors had said something that makes them a suspect. The Star & The Story: Brief Affair This half hour anthology series hosted by Henry Fonda was another gem from the Golden Era of TV. A man tells his shocked wife that he wants a divorce to marry another woman. His wife strikes a deal: if he stays away from the woman for three months, and then still wants the divorce, she'll grant it. Things go well for the couple until, while alone, his best friend and his wife think he is seeing the woman again. The best friend uses the opportunity to seduce the wife.
