7 years ago before I took this picture, I had gone on a school trip to London, to see a theater production in an outdoor arena, right on the River Thames. I saw this view then and was captivated by it. 15 year-old me made the decision then, to "come back one day and shoot this exact angle and do it justice", so I could show all my friends how beautiful the view is. Many years later I decided to shoot London professionally, this was one of the first and most important shots I wanted to get. I got exactly what I wanted, and I now even get to show all my friends how beautiful this view is!
