This 9 piece set includes 3 each P-51 Mustang, P-40 Warhawk, and Messerschmitt BF-109. Aircraft features spinable props with 3.75 inch wingspans and are approximately 1:100 scale. Made from slightly stiff OD green color HDPE plastic with a medium amount of detail and very little flashing.
These fighter planes are modeled after the North American Aviation P-51 Mustang, Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, and German Messerschmitt BF-109. Processed Plastic ('s parent company), first produced these airplanes sometime around the 1960's, and they were often packaged with the Airmen figures and marketed as U.S. Air Force sets.
