The Tier1 RFC-93 filter cartridge is a standard size at 10 x 2.5 inches and the perfect option for point-of-entry (POE) as well as other high flow rate applications. At 25 nominal microns in size, the media of this filter allows great filtration against chlorine, taste and odor. The design of this filter incorporates a polyethylene shell and a polypropylene core. This radial flow cartridge reduces the amount of carbon fines, in a given volume of treated water. Typically GAC filters have issues with carbon fines, the Tier1 RFC-93, cleans those up.
