About the Director TMOTHY GASSEN is an award-winning author, filmmaker, writer and musician. He operates his own film production company, writes globally for newspapers and magazines, and has published a variety of original music. He has worked for Paramount, Universal and NBC, among many others, and holds a BFA degree in motion picture direction. Gassen has also worked professionally as a journalist since 1979. His two paper books on underground music culture are now available as a multi-media CD-ROM & DVD, which also include hundreds of his feature articles written over the past two decades. In 1995 he won an Arizona Press Club Award for his hockey coverage, and he s served as a college hockey radio play-by-play man and team media director. He was also hired as the radio color man for a minor league WPHL team in 2001.
