A collection RARE and amazing films on the famous USN Seabees. They are also known as the "CAN DO" boys or "We Build, We Fight" group. They were often known as the 35 hr day guys too because there tasks were so important to build the airbases to protect the troops throughout the war. 1st Film: "Seabees around the World". This film shows the Seabees building everything from an airbases to huts, to hospitals and even repair ships the get them back into action in record time. CAN DO! 42:51 Min's 2nd Film: "Seabees in the Aleutians". This film spends it time in the Aleutians. Known as the "Forgotten War", these Seabees build everything from buildings, piers, the runways out of the fridged cold. Not a fun job, but they got it done. 17:02 Min's 3rd Film: "Seabees Return to Guam". This film was was about the return to Guam and building runways for the mighty B-29 to attack the Japanese homeland. A very bloody fight to get it back from the Japanese. They always felt that as Guam went, so did the war for the Japanese empire. They were right. 18:35 Min's. 4th Film: "Seabees in South East Asia". This Film is about a potential battle in the South East Asia. Preparing for war in Vietnam. the film was produced in 1957, but our military must have known that war of some kind was going to breakout there and this film shows the way. 12:57 Min's. 5th Film: "Seabee Newsreels". Here is a collection of Seabee newsreels in the Pacific. 1st New Guinea Airfield. 2. Seabees in Rabaul. 3. Jeeps haul tree logs. 8:26 Min's We are a small father and son business that collects old films to save them from the trash heap. We digitize them in HD to save a copy for future generations.
