Hi, My name is Michael and I am the heart and soul behind The Sober Journal.
And I created this journal because I quickly found out (early in my recovery) that I needed to write things down.
Because so many feelings, emotions and thoughts were flying at me all the time. Everything was new. I was learning about myself every day...
And I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed and confused with all the change that was happening around me.
But when I looked online there wasn't a single journal for those of us in recovery.
I was shocked.
And it was in that moment that I decided to make something special for the sobriety community - and help as many people recover (as possible) through journaling.
I have poured my heart and soul into the Sober Journal and I hope it provides you a place to track and discover yourself throughout your recovery.
And whether you are getting sober for the first time or already have ten years of sobriety under your belt - I hope journaling teaches you something new about yourself and inspires you to create the life you know in your heart you were meant to create.
