He began taking tap lessons at the local PAL and fell in love with dance as an artform. In high school, Phil dabbled in musical theatre (most notably playing Tyrone in the stage production of FAME). In college, Phil broadened his dance vocabulary by joining an international dance group specializing in multicultural styles (Indian, African, Chinese, etc.). After college, Phil joined the ReMIXX Performers in New York City and began performing for various music industry artists and events. New York born and Miami, Florida raised Syndee began dancing at age 15 in High School. Excelling quite quickly as a dancer, Syndee began working as a Freelance Dancer / Choreographer for a number of dance studios and inner-city programs throughout Miami. Dancing background for the Daddy Yankee Tour, Reggaeton artist Lisa M, American Idol Jordin Sparks, and traveling the world as a professional dancer Syndee has appeared in music videos for artists like Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Damian Marley, DJ Grandmaster Flash and many others. Syndee is a former veteran of the NBA s most famous dance team The New York Knicks City Dancers. She was also choreographer and assistant coach for the Knicks City Kids dance team and has hosted many events for the Knicks organization.
