The Priestly Blessing Biblical Art Print by Susan Loy Literary Calligraphy

Susan hand-lettered these often-recited Bible verses in English and Hebrew in colorful concentric circles that traverse the color wheel. The Hebrew begins at 3 o'clock and reads counter-clockwise; the English verse starts at 9 o'clock and reads clockwise. The verses surround a colorful circle filled with the word peace (shalom) in Hebrew letters. The priestly blessing, recorded in Numbers 6: 24-26, is a benediction of protection, grace, and peace: "The Lord bless thee, and keep thee; The Lord make His face to shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee. The Lord lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."
