Gagarin, is later seen in battle with Klingon birds-of-prey in the Discovery episode ‘Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum’. The U.S.S. Gagarin is one of the Federation’s most advanced Battlecruisers and is meant to bolster Starfleet’s line, helping to replenish the loss of starships of similar tonnage during the Iconian War.
