This figure has it all--looks, nice clothing, great accessories, and fantastic articulation, which allows for a wide range of movement. A multi-jointed upper body allows Gandalf to bend and twist comfortably, but little movement in the legs means standing poses are not as easy to accomplish. Details are superb on the wizard's flowing, gauzy tunic, boots, and underclothing. "Real" rooted hair (which is rather unmanageable out of the box but relaxes over time) and a beard enhance the fine facial definition. Gandalf's staff and sword fit comfortably in his hands, but his cap lacks elastic so it only sits on top of his head rather than fitting snuggly. --A. Galindo
