The Late Great Golden State

About the Actor Mr. Stinson's first two albums, Jack of All Heartache, and Last Fool at the Bar excited the critics, many of whom said he was one of the country's top country western singer-songwriters. His song, The Late Great Golden State, was covered by Dwight Yoakam on his album, Population Me. Mr. Stinson is updating the song on his upcoming album, and the DVD uses this latest version of the song. About the Director Jim Hollander directed and Tony Gotta shot much the feature-length documentary, First Tuesdays at Ronnie Mack's Barn Dance, about the Alt-Country music scene in Southern California that originated at the famed Palomino Club in Los Angeles' North Hollywood area.
