The Inspector Lynley Mysteries 2 Playing for the Ashes

Pairing upper-crust detective Inspector Lynley (Nathaniel Parker, FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD) with his working-class partner Barbara Havers (Sharon Small, ABOUT A BOY), the series chronicles the Scotland Yard duo's efforts to crack difficult cases while coming to terms with each other's class differences. In "Playing for the Ashes," the first episode of the series' second season, Lynley and Havers' investigation into the arson death of a famous cricket player is hampered by the triangular relationships between the dead man's trainer, mistress, and wife.
