It tells 4 horror stories related to an old and ghostly mansion in which a police investigation is carried out to clarify certain disappearances. Written in a parody tone by Robert Bloch. 1) Method for Murder: A writer conjures up a strangler from his imagination and what is his surprise when he notices that the criminal has taken on real life. 2) Waxworks: A lonely man visits a wax museum and sees a figure that reminds him of a woman he loved in the past. The owner of the exhibition is also a psychopath who goes around brandishing his ax... 3) Sweets to the Sweet: A man has a daughter with "problems", and the new governess discovers that her difficulties are brought about by the the girl's fondness for black magic, especially her new voodoo doll, made in the image and likeness of her father. 4) The Cloak: A pedantic actor buys a cloak to play the role of a vampire, but since the cloak was from a real vampire, his own behavior is affected.
