Gate Latch Bar plate can be mounted on the gate or post for versatility. Can be used for left or right hand installations and can be used with a padlock for security. Latch Bar has 1' of vertical movement that helps compensate for gate sag. The small pre-drilled hole in the release lever is for rigging a cord (not included) that would release latch from opposite side of gate. Must drill a hole through post for rigging cord installation.
