M19 one of Britain's most secretive WWII agencies aided Allies caught behind enemy lines--spies downed airmen and escaped prisoners. Airmen were taught evasion training and escape methods before flying over occupied territory. Resistance teams risked their lives to help those stranded return home to fight another day.
