The Big Lift Indiscretion Of An American Wife

Classic Black & White Big: In 1948, the Soviet Union blockades Allied Berlin to bring the city under their control. Two stories emerge from the crisis: Sgt. Hank Kowalski, whose hatred of Germans makes him resistant to change, and Sgt. Jimmy McCollough, whose pursuit of a German widow gives him a close look at the seamy side of occupied Berlin. Indiscretion: A married American woman gets involved with another man while in Rome. She decides that the time has come to end the affair and makes plans to return to her husband, but soon realizes the agony of that decision.
