Terry Tyree Glenn is a former American college and professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for twelve seasons. He played college football for Ohio State University, and was recognized as an All-American. He was drafted by the New England Patriots seventh overall in the 1996 NFL Draft, and played professionally for the Patriots, Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. Glenn attended Ohio State University, and was a walk-on player for Ohio State Buckeyes football team and later earned an athletic scholarship. In 1995, he was recognized as a consensus first-team All-American and won the Fred Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top wide receiver. Glenn was drafted in the first round (seventh overall) of the 1996 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. Glenn immediately made a big impact for New England, recording 90 receptions for 1,132 yards and 6 touchdowns in his rookie season, and helping his team reach Super Bowl XXXI. At the time, his 90 receptions were the most ever in a single season by a rookie in NFL history.
