Tchaikovsky: Swan Lake [Blu-ray]

Dancer and choreographer Rudolf Nureyev created his now classic version of Swan Lake in 1964. To mark the 50th anniversary of this ballet genius early masterpiece, the Wiener Staatsballett at the Wiener Staatsoper, one of the best companies in the world, has revived his production with new sets and costumes. The role of the Princess, one of the most difficult (double) roles in the entire ballet repertoire, and always viewed as the climax of any prima ballerinas career, is danced by Olga Esina, who delivers a masterly performance in every respect.
