Tarrazu Black Honey Costa Rican Specialty Coffee Whole Bean Medium Roast

These are unique microlot Black Honey process coffee beans from the region of Tarrazú, Costa Rica. The Black Honey process retains some of the coffee cherry on the bean and results in sweeter, brighter flavors. The honey process originated in Costa Rica and can range from White/Yellow (least fruit) to Black Honey (most fruit). It is more sustainable, using less water during processing. These beans are of microlot origin, meaning that they were grown on a specific land plot on a particular farm - a more distinctive sourcing than single origin. These beans were also cultivated at high altitudes, allowing more time for bean flavors to mature and develop.
