In the latter half of World War II, the German army applied a coating for magnetic mine prevention called twill merit coating to the body of a tank. This coating can be easily reproduced. A sharp coated surface is completed by chopping the Tamiya polyester putty painted on the car body so as to extend it thinly with an etching blade with a coating pitch engraved. Coating is possible reliably from wide surface to narrow surface with 4 types of blade width.
