This is an amazing piece of handmade natural jewelry: The rind of the dried tagua seeds is shaved off and dyed to make up the petals of this gorgeous flower. These husk petals are then hand sewn together with 2 lentil-shaped tagua beads at its center. Several cotton cords wrap around your wrist with an adjustable macram? closure, and two Tagua discs finish it off at each end tip . All the beads used are sustainable, organic, and vegan, pure vegetable ivory (Tagua seeds). When ripe, tagua seeds are harvested and sun-dried. After losing all their moisture they become rock solid resembling ivory in color, texture, and hardness, hence their nickname: ?Vegetable Ivory?. At this point, the hard seeds can be polished, dyed, cut, and shaped into beautiful beads that become Florama natural jewelry.
