Here, I am offering seeds from Symphyotrichum novae-angliae, also known as New England Aster, Hardy Aster, and Michaelmas Daisy. This plant does well in full sun, and is fairly happy in light shade, but when it is in the full sun it attracts even more birds, bees, and butterflies than usual. Not only is this a great butterfly plant but it is also deer resistant and very attractive. This is a nectar plant for the Pearl Crescent, Behrs Metalmark, Dainty Sulphur, Field Crescent, Little Yellow, Eastern Tailed-Blue, Sachem, Viceroy, Question Mark, American Snout, Painted Crescent, Northern Checkerspot, Plains Skipper, Common Buckeye, Cabbage White, Arctic Fritillary, Orange Sulphur, Western Branded Skipper, Common Branded Skipper, Common Checkered-Skipper, and Leonards Skipper butterflies. USDA Hardiness Zones 3 to 10
