Supathya Sambar Powder Mix is an attempt to revive the authentic taste of Sambar from the villages of Tamil Nadu in India. The Masala mix makes preparing Sambar breezy. This mix provides you with the ultimate experience of Sambar to be had alongside South Indian dishes like Idli, dosa or with rice. Enjoy the taste of traditional South Indian lentil and mix vegetable stew with Supathya Sambar Spice Powder Steps to prepare Sambar:  1. Pressure cook 50 gms toor dal in two and a half cups water and a pinch of turmeric until the dal has a soft texture. 2. In a vessel add 250 ml of dilute tamarind paste, desired vegetables, salt, turmeric & asafetida powder (Hing) 3. Jaggery could be added optionally.  4. After the vegetables are cooked well add two heap full teaspoons of Supathya Sambar Powder mix and cook for 5 mins. 5. Add (25-40) gms of freshly ground coconut paste (optional). 6. Add the cooked Dal and bring it to boil. Check the consistency, then Switch off the gas stove. 7. In an-other Kadai add one tsp cooking oil, mustard seeds, Jeera and curry leaves. 8. When ready add it to the sambar, mix well. Serve piping hot with idly, dosa or rice.
