Questions: 1.Q: I’m using these with an angle grinder at 4,000 RPMs to polish marble tile edges. Each one of these leaves a brown residue I can clean off. Why is this? A: Use it with water and reduce the RPM. It is burning the stone due to high heat. Brown residue is the burnt powder from the surface you are grinding you are probably not using a water slurry as a coolant. 2.Q: Will it work for aquarium glass? A: It works pretty well on glass if it fiberglass it may not work. 3.Q: Can these be used with light oil, or is water better? A: The waterworks perfectly. Just remember to keep it wet. Especially in the final grits. How to Install? Step 1: Connecting the 8mm Shank. Step 2: Attach the polishing pad hook and loop side to the backer hook and loop side. Step 3: Installed on the grinder or polisher. Note: 1. Max RPM: 4500 RPM. Never use it with a high-speed grinder or high-speed polisher. 2. The lower grits (50#, 100#, 200#) is designed for either Wet or Dry usage. The higher grits must be used with water for the best result. 3. We recommend WET use!
