Stewart's Old Fashioned Pure Candy is manufactured with a "SOFTER" bite than traditional hard candy. This is achieved by placing the candy in a high temperature, high humidity room after it has been manufactured in our Georgia facility. T his causes the candy to "grain" giving each piece the softer texture. You can change the texture of our candy to suit your individual taste by placing it in a warm, moist area to soften it, or a cool, dry area to firm up the texture. If your candy is harder than you like, place it in a warmer area. If it's too soft, place it in a cooler area. This is the expected results of a candy made with authentic, natural, pure cane sugar.
