Stencil Story
The city of Medina was established by Prophet Muhammad (S) himself in 622 CE and as it grew the city came to be named after him. One of the first orders of action for the newly established community was to erect the mosque that remains till this day. Today, the Prophet's Mosque, much more elaborate than its initial state, now with its prominent green dome sits at the center of the city. The walls, floors, doors, and corridors in the mosque and its immediate surroundings are decorated in a variety of classic Islamic tiles and motifs. This design is brought to you directly from that atmosphere and history.
