Here's how to put them together: 1 Unscrew the lower half of the clutch, and then remove the bottom screw and felt. 2 Connect the top and top felt of the clutch to the top step hat cymbal. 3 Turn the over, then under cymbal, put the felt back on the clutch. 4 Remove the removed bottom screw and screw it back into the clutch. Use the top screw to adjust the tightness of the top cymbal. 5 Finally, place the step clutch and the c disc on the rod of the step holder, and tighten the wing nut at the desired position. You can use the foot pedal for proper placement. After all the steps, you should sandwich the two felts between the middle cymbal pieces, adjust the tightness with two screws above the felt, and fix everything together with a screw at the bottom.
