5A drum sticks are fantastic when used to play pop or rock music. 5A sticks are the in-between drum stick, they are neither the lightest or the heaviest, this makes them easier to hold and to use as a practise stick. Drum sticks fall into 3 categories A, B and S, drum sticks with the letter A are the lightest while sticks labelled S are the heaviest. The Stagg SHV2B falls into the lightest category.
