These post caps attach stainless steel posts to a flat top rail without any space between the two. Order enough intermediate and terminal caps for each intermediate and terminal non-stair post in your railing system. Post Cap to Top Rail Connector slides into Intermediate Post with Epoxy (not included) and secures your flat wood or metal top rail with (2) screws (not included). Note: Stainless Steel is highly resistant, but not impervious to the elements, and requires minimal maintenance for ideal results. We recommend applying Citrisurf 77 Plus to all exposed stainless steel components at the time of installation. In addition, apply Boeshield T9 if within 10 miles of a marine environment to further protect the stainless steel. Please verify with local building codes.
