When the skin is healthy and optimal, squalane oil makes up to 15% of your skin's sebum. It protects your skin from the drying elements of wind and sun, slows the weathering and aging of the skin and gives it an incredible radiance. Unfortunately, stress, much more so than age, can deplete your skin's natural squalane production. As time goes on this lack of squalane oil makes it easier for fine lines to form and for skin to appear dull. We have found through our own trials that if you use squalane consistently, your skin's natural squalane production can actually catch up and make an incredible recovery for a great many skin types.
