SNOWFLAKES 4104 Plate Block of 4 x 39¢ US Postage Stamps

This is a numbered plate block of 4 stamps as pictured. (plate number may vary from stock picture). These stamps were issued as the 2006 Contemporary Christmas stamps. The average snowflake is about 0.4 inches across. Large flakes usually only grow when winds are very light. The biggest snowflake reported in the U.S. measured fifteen inches across. It fell on January 28, 1887, at Fort Keough, Montana.
