Wall Plate Adapter- this product is used to connect to a flat surface with a 4 inch vent wither wall, floor or ceiling. The Wall Plate Adapter goes on the inside of your vent and sits flush against the surface. It covers any imperfections around the cutout of the vent and secures tightly with 4 screws into the wall or surface. If there is large space around the vent our adapter is 7 inches x 7 inches and will cover a large area to secure the width of most vent cutouts. There are tools and assembly involved including: Screwdriver or screw gun, gloves, tin snips, tape measure. Trim the vent that sticks out from the flat surface to 1.25 inches. Cut 1 inch strips all the way around the vent to the flat surface. Pull back 1 inch strips toward flat surface (wall, ceiling or floor) Place wall adapter into vent either using the seal ring or no seal ring depending on sizing. Seal ring will create an air tight seal. Level and screw the 4 screws into screw holes until snug against wall. Take Snap Connector off and place the hose onto Snap Connector. Push onto Wall Plate Adapter and done. Provides easy access for regular dryer vent cleaning. Great for new construction homes, apartments etc.
